Why hire a Blue Badge Guide?

The Blue Badge is the highest level qualification of the UK's professional, registered tourist guides. The Badge is only awarded to those rigorously trained and examined under the regulations of the Institute of Tourist Guiding. They know how to entertain and inform you. They are trained to be caring and versatile, designing and conducting tours in your language, on foot, by car, coach, minibus, boat or on public transport.

In area of my qualification, London, Blue Badge holders are the only guides qualified to guide on a coach, and the only ones permitted to guide in the major London sites like Westminster Abbey, St Paul’s Cathedral, the Tower of London, Windsor Castle, and the other Royal Palaces. I am one of the few guides specially qualified to arrange tours of the venues for the forthcoming 2012 Olympic Games in London. I am not yet qualified to guide you throughout Southern England, but have been trained to take you to all the most popular tourist destinations in the south outside London.

I have also been trained to make and tailor plans to fit whatever your needs are. If I’m not available, or can’t meet your request for a particular tour or region of England, I can easily put you in touch with the best guide for the job.
